Abortion Ban Protest In Foley Square
Women gathered across the United States, Puerto Rico, and in Ottawa, Canada to protest the archaic anti-abortion bills that are being passed in states such as Alabama, Ohio, Missouri, and Georgia. At over 500 #StopTheBan protests, politicians and celebrities joined ordinary women from all walks of life as they spoke their truth about the dangers making abortion illegal will bring, how it will ruin lives — and even shared the stories of their own abortions. They made it clear, especially in Washington, DC, that should Roe v. Wade be overturned, there will be hell to pay. Scroll through our gallery to see pics from the protests in DC, New York City and state, Los Angeles, and St. Louis, Missouri from May 21, 2019.
