‘Aladdin’ Live-Action Movie
The ‘Aladdin’ live-action remake will be released May 24 in theaters everywhere. The new movie, directed by Guy Ritchie, comes 26 years after the release of the original Disney animated film. ‘Aladdin’ is based on ‘One Thousand and One Nights.’ The live-action remake includes an all-new cast, including Will Smith as the Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, and Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine. The movie also stars Nasim Pedrad, Marwan Kenzari, and Billy Magnussen. ‘Aladdin’ will include songs from the original film, like ‘Prince Ali’ and ‘A Whole New World,’ as well as two new songs. The original Disney film starred Robin Williams, Scott Weinger, and Linda Larkin. The 1992 movie won 2 Oscars for Best Original Song and Best Original Score.
