With games like "Truth or Drink" and "Plead the Fifth," Andy Cohen tends to get a lot of dirt out of his guests on his late night show Watch What Happens Live. While many celebrities have taken the Bravo show's tea-spilling games as a chance to come clean, some have been less open to the idea. In fact, one star in particular made her mark as Cohen's worst guest ever because she wasn't game to play. Read on to find out who it was, and for the famous faces who have been barred from another TV show, check out The One Guest Jimmy Kimmel Banned From His Show.
In an interview on the Rachael Ray Show in 2016, Cohen and Rachael Ray played a round of "Plead the Fifth," a Watch What Happens game in which Cohen asks three questions, only one of which the interviewee can refuse to answer. But this time, Ray was the one asking Cohen the questions. She took the opportunity to ask Cohen who his least favorite guest was on Watch What Happens Live, and after seven years of hosting the show, he instantly responded with model Amber Rose.
"Amber Rose came on and she didn't want to answer any of the questions I was asking her. And she was wearing sunglasses," Cohen said of their infamous game of "Plead the Fifth." Throughout the 2015 interview, Rose knew that it wasn't going well. "She says on the air, 'Am I your worst guest ever?' And I go, 'You are in the running right now, you really are,'" Cohen said.
As Ray and Cohen were both laughing, he admitted that he ultimately admired Rose and that the interview made both of them laugh. "I have to say, I really liked her a lot," Cohen explained. "And after the show, we had a laugh about it, and I was like, 'That really didn't work great.'"

1 Rick Ross
During a 2019 round of "Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts" with Demi Moore on his show, James Corden shared that the most disappointing guest he had on The Late Late Show was rapper Rick Ross. Corden created a musical spoof of Ross' song "Hustlin" about binge-watching Netflix and performed it for Ross at a rehearsal before the show. After the run-through, the musician walked off, pretending to go to the bathroom, and his management team told Corden that Ross wouldn't do the bit.
Even though Corden was bummed that the sketch fell through, he said he understands why. "I have to say, now that I've said it out loud, I see his point. It does sound like a terrible idea," Corden told Moore. And for more interviews gone wrong, check out The Worst "Late Night" Guest Conan O'Brien Ever Had.
2 Steven Seagal
According to the creator of Saturday Night Live, actor Steven Seagal was the worst guest host the show ever had. During Nicholas Cage's monologue of a 1992 episode, Cage joked with co-creator and producer Lorne Michaels that the audience probably thought he was the biggest jerk on the show. Michaels corrected him, saying, "No, no. That would be Steven Seagal."
In a 2015 episode of Watch What Happens Live, former SNL cast member David Spade also shared his thoughts on Seagal. "He was tough to work with," Spade admitted. "He did not want to play along." And for more celebrity news sent right to your inbox, sign up for our newsletter.
3 Kevin Spacey
In 2019, Scottish interviewer Lorraine Kelly revealed that after 35 years of her show Lorraine, the worst celebrity she ever interviewed was Kevin Spacey, who was a guest in 2015. "He was really, really, beyond horrible," Kelly told The Big Narstie Show. "He was horrible to the person that was making him up, the person that was bringing him tea." 4 Frank Sinatra Jr.
On an episode of Watch What Happens Live in Oct. 2020, Today's Hoda Kotb and her former co-host Kathie Lee Gifford said that there was one guest they didn't like. "It's Frank Sinatra Jr. It was the worst guest we ever had, bar none," Kotb said. "He had a book he was promoting, and he didn't want to talk about it, so he didn't say anything."
