Charles Melton most famously plays the popular jock Reggie Mantle in the CW show “Riverdale,” a role he took over from Ross Butler after Season 1. The heartthrob made his acting debut in a 2014 episode of “Glee,” after dropping out from a two-year stint at Kansas State University. He went on to star as Mr. Wu in “American Horror Story: Hotel” and got his big break in 2017 with “Riverdale” (he was promoted to being a series regular in Season 3). On the film side, Charles starred alongside actors like Logan Paul and Peyton List in the 2018 web film “The Thinning: New World Order.” Charles will be taking the big screen in the 2019 teen drama “The Sun Is Also a Star,” in which he plays the leading character alongside Yara Shahidi. His next big film will be in the 2020 cop comedy “Bad Boys for Life,” which will star Will Smith and Vanessa Hudgens.
