Grace is best known as an actress who starred in various films from the early to mid-1950s before marrying into royalty through her husband Prince Rainer III and becoming the Princess of Monaco in 1956.
Before becoming a royal, she starred in over 40 episodes of live drama productions during the Golden Age of Television in the 1950s. Some of her most memorable work was in the adventure-romance ‘Mogambo’ with Clark Gable and Ava Gardner. She won a Golden Globe Award and Academy Award nomination for the role. She also starred in other popular features like ‘The Country Girl’, ‘High Noon’, and ‘Rear Window.’
After dying in 1982 after having a stroke, she has left a lasting legacy that is prominent to this day.
