Sometimes, being the ‘middle’ brother isn’t so bad. Joe Jonas – one-third of the Jonas Brothers – may not be the youngest (that would be Nick Jonas or ‘bonus Jonas’ Frankie) or the oldest (Kevin Jonas) but he’s made it work for him. Joe rose to fame alongside his brothers, touring across the world as part of the pop rock group and appearing on the popular Camp Rock films. When the band split due to creative differences in 2011, Joe formed the funk-pop group DNCE in 2015. As the lead singer, Joe found success once again, leading his loveable group of weirdos to the tops of the charts with their massive hit, “Cake by the Ocean.” Followupo singles “Toothbrush,” “Body Moves,”and “Kissing Strangers” found diminishing returns. In 2019, the Jonas Brothers reunited, putting DNCE on indefinite hiatus.
Joe also has been successful in love. He famously dated Taylor Swift for three months in 2008, and infamously broke up with her over the phone. The split inspired her song “Forever & Always.” He would have an on-off relationship with Demi Lovato in 2008-10, before they decided they would be better off as friends. After dating Ashley Greene, Gigi Hadid and more, Joe struck up a romance with Sophie Turner in 2106. The two were married in May 2019 in Las Vegas after the Billboard Music Awards.
