Kevin O’Leary is a Canadian businessman, author, producer, investment expert, and television host best known as one of the “sharks” on the American reality show “Shark Tank”. Kevin ran companies in Canada like SoftKey Software Products, StorageNow Holdings, and TLC. His business acumen made him the perfect cohost for the CBC reality competition series “Dragon’s Den”, where he was known for being the brutal, harsh judge. He once told a crying contestant that, “Money doesn’t care. Your tears don’t add any value.” His reputation for being cruel earned him the moniker “Mr. Wonderful”, which he kept when he joined the American version of the show, “Shark Tank”, in 2009.
