LACMA Art and Film Gala In 2015
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art held its annual LACMA Art + Film Gala on Nov. 07, 2015. The dinner, inaugurated in 2011, is designed to help the museum raise funding and earn support from local figures for the museum. The gala has also honored members of the film industry. In 2015, the LACMA Art + Film Gala celebrated the life and careers of Alejandro González Iñárritu and James Turrell. The event also drew in many stars, who took a moment take a photo on the red carpet. Kim Kardashian-West is a frequent attendee at the event, and in 2015, she arrived while pregnant with her second child (the soon-to-be-born Saint West.) Others like Chloe Sevigny, Saoirse Ronan, Salma Hayek, and Usher arrived for the event, all paying a pretty penny. While not as expensive as the Met Gala, prices usually range from $5,000 for an individual gold ticket to $100,000 for a platinum table.
