It looked very different, but as they say, the show must go on! And on, it did, as the 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards took pace on February 28, 2021 in a bi-coastal telecast, celebrating the best of TV and movies in one of the most difficult times in our history.
Reuniting — sort of — hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler kicked off the show on NBC with a monologue that took aim at the HFPA For having no black members, as well calling out the binging habits of everyone quaranting at home. From there, the night ran into serveral techincal issues, while also recognizing incredible talents like Daniel Kaluuya, Mark Ruffallo, and more.
