Ottawa, Oct 13 (IANS) Two Canadian cops were shot dead in the line of obligation, nearby police have said.
In a news discharge, the South Simcoe Police Administration said its officials answered a call at a home close 25th Sideroad and ninth Line in the Town of Innisfil, around 100 km from Toronto, at roughly 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday, Xinhua news office detailed.
The two officials were shot inside the home. The suspect was subsequently articulated dead following a connection with police, as per the delivery.
Police have not expressed out loud whatever the underlying call was for. The two officials were raced to a nearby clinic, where one died. Not long after 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, police declared via virtual entertainment that the subsequent official had likewise died.
The delivery said Ontario’s Unique Examinations Unit (SIU) is currently exploring, which happens when an individual is genuinely harmed or killed because of a police cooperation.

The shooting came a month after Toronto Police Const. Andrew Hong and two others were lethally fired by a shooter close to Toronto on September 12.
